Description
The hood ornament in this image is on a restored 1955 Chevy Bel-Air. This beauty was painted in a two tone design but the image turned out more dramatic when converting it to black and white.
The Bel-Air was being displayed in one of the venues in Bay Saint Louis, MS during the 18th annual Cruisin' The Coast event. For eight days each October, thousands of antique and classic car and truck enthusiasts gather and cruise on US Highway 90 along 27+ miles of beach. Cruisers enjoy the water scenery and spectators enjoy the lovingly restored vehicles. There are venues and activities in every city along the route. The 2014 Cruisin' event produced over 7,000 registered cars, trucks and vans. Many of the owners have already made plans for next years event.
