This 1955 Chevy Bel Air was being displayed in Bay Saint Louis, MS during the 18th annual Cruisin' The Coast. I talked with the owner for a few minutes and he was curious how the color would show up in the photographs. I was sure to give him my card to look up these images after the event was over.
Over 7,000 antique and classic cars and trucks gathered for this year's Cruisin' The Coast. Cruisers cruise along US Highway 90 and enjoy the view of 27+ miles of beach while spectators enjoy 8 days of beautifully restored treasures of transportation cruising back and forth along the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Cities from Bay Saint Louis to Ocean Springs have different venues and activities for the visitors and locals alike. The photographs in this series were taken at venues in Bay Saint Louis, MS.

Kathy, Great shot! In Photoshop, maybe start with ACR and "shadows", which will bring up more detail on the car and then in "selective color", brighten that deep burgundy, if important....nice as is though...

Thanks Chad! The owner said photographers had complained that it was hard to capture the color correctly and I found that to be true on the photos that I took on the hood!
