B Is For Blessed by Kathy K. McClellan is an image created for Day 51 of the Journal 2022 Challenge. This is a square image with a black border.
My journal entries for February 2022 include upper case (capital) letters of the Modern English Alphabet as well as a description that relays information on the word chosen for that day's letter. These letters are created from used wine corks.
What does it mean to be blessed? Blessed is defined as blissful, happy, joyful, (literal Greek meaning to be enlarged).
There are eight specific blessing in the Bible, spoken by Jesus as part of His Sermon On The Mount, that speak specifically to us about our circumstances in life and how our faith through those circumstances can bring us blessing. These blessings are called The Beatitudes.
These blessings can encourage us and give us hope as we face difficult times.
I feel encouraged and hopeful when I am blessed and my hope for today is that each of you reading this will also be
hopeful and encouraged in your life circumstances, knowing that God blesses us many times over.
