Four wheel drive vehicles are permitted in limited areas of beach in Fernandina Beach, Florida on Amelia Island. Where those vehicles are allowed the beach is covered in tire tracks.
Each vehicle has a different set of tires and drive in a little different path resulting in a criss-cross of varied patterns.
