This image was originally a color photograph which can be found in the Landmarks Collection (Title: Bay St. Louis Rotary Clock).
The lighting and contrast was manipulated to produce the image that you see now.
Bay St. Louis is a small, artsy seaside town on the Gulf Coast of Mississippi. In 2019, the local Bay St. Louis Rotary Club purchased and dedicated a street clock to the city.
The clock was erected on the corner of Beach Boulevard and Main Street. It took the club six years to raise the $22,000 to purchase the clock.
The clock is now a landmark in the heart of Old Town, the historic district of the city.
