Blue Blooms by Kathy K. McClellan is a digital image created for Day Two of the four day Color Art Challenge (Day Two Theme: Blue).
A variety of blue flowers of different shades and sizes overlap each other against a black background. The stylized flowers are simplistic with five petals each and a black center, creating a harmonious blue pattern.
These digitally created blossoms are filled with four different shades of blue. Starting as a dark blue, the blossoms gradually show lighter shades until they are a pale shade of blue.
