I recently visited a few places I enjoyed as a child that are literally a thousand miles away from my present life. After an exciting or scary route, depending on your perspective, of steep hills and treacherous curves down into a deep valley we arrived at the entrance to Austin Lake Park between Richmond and Toronto, Ohio.

This lake has been a popular gathering spot for families as long as I can remember. The lake was built in the 1940s and has continued to be owned and managed by the same family ever since.

This photograph was taken at the entrance to the park and will be perfect as a print for your favorite dog lover.

100% of the artist's profits from this image will be donated to Choe's Fund, a non-profit that pays for life saving treatments and surgeries for shelter dogs in the Lauderdale County, Florence, AL area.
