As I was trying to decide what image would fit my day for the Journal 2022 Challenge I was interrupted by our Mail Carrier. She had checked on a package that my tracking information said had been delivered to the Post Office on December 27th.
After she left I remembered the day in a past January that her mail truck broke down and she had called for help.
I was amused that the Post Office has a recovery truck to repair their delivery trucks when they break down on their routes instead of calling a wrecker service.
I would guess that many of us have experienced lost packages at one time or another but how many have experienced watching their mail carrier be rescued by the post office repair truck?
