100% of the artist's profits from this image will be donated to Choe's Fund, a non-profit that pays for life saving treatments and surgeries for shelter dogs in the Lauderdale County, Florence, AL area.
This photograph was taken in Sept. 2013. The dog was 9yrs. old and was resting in the shade, on cool concrete. Her name is Cookie and she came to live with the photographer and her husband after Hurricane Katrina.
