Cuthbert First Baptist Church by Kathy K. McClellan is a photographic image created for Day One of the Three Day THREE Challenge.

This historic, Baptist church in Cuthbert, Georgia (USA) was first constituted in 1831. The first church building was a log structure. Several buildings and locations later the present church building was erected (1898).

Constructed of red brick the building features a steeple with two different window designs. Three arched windows are topped with three simple Fleur-de-lis, a three petaled lily or iris symbol depicting purity, the three persons of the Trinity and faith, wisdom, and chivalry. A little higher up on the steeple four arched windows are unadorned.

Stained glass windows on the side of the building feature three over three rectangular panes.

Three wooden crosses are erected in the side yard of the church, representing the three crosses on Calvary Hill where Jesus Christ was crucified.
