Description
Fourplex Birdhouse Post by Kathy K. McClellan is a photographic image created for Day 349 of the 365 Challenge (Journal 2022).
This photograph shows four different bird houses mounted on one post. Although these house are the correct style for bluebirds they will probably attract sparrows and wrens instead because they are mounted so closely together.
There are many other birdhouses located in this community garden called Ruth's Roots in Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi (USA).
The garden was named after the late Ruth Thompson and is located at the former location of Ruth's Cakery. The land was donated by Jim Thompson.
There is a chicken coop, butterfly house, rabbit enclosure, koi pond, blessing box, adult and children's lending libraries as well as several other attractions.
Garden vegetables and herbs are planted in raised beds. Eggs are donated to a local non-profit cafe.
The garden is open 24/7 and has been visited by people from all over the United States as well as several different countries.
