Description
The French Quarters in New Orleans, Louisiana is full of street vendors, especially in Jackson Square in front of Saint Louis Cathedral. There are painters, musicians, magicians, mimes and more.
This poster contains a few images of the many talented characters you might see on a tour of the Quarters.
The most famous street in the French Quarter is Bourbon Street and is made up of numerous bars and shops which are constantly visited by tourists and locals alike.
The French Quarter is the oldest neighborhood in the city of New Orleans and is also known as Vieux Carre. The city itself was founded in 1718 by Jean-Baptiste Le Moyne de Bienville. The entire district (0.66 square miles) has been designated a National Historic Landmark.
Although there are various styles of architecture the main influence will be Spanish. Wrought iron balconies and fences are plentiful. The Quarters is home to the Pontalba Apartments (the oldest apartment buildings in the U.S.).
A visit to New Orleans would not be complete without a tour of The French Quarter and a tour of the French Quarter will produce a variety of artists and performers.

I'm sensing a theme here. I like this one better than the other. Might be because of the 2 musicians getting the larger square, but I think it's because how their sign stands out and "plays for everyone" in the collage. Well done Kathy~DUG
Kathy K McClellan replied:
Thanks, DUG. This one is my preference, too. And yes, there is a theme. French Quarter Poster Series. :)
