This image was a candid photograph taken on a boat in the middle of summer. Cookie, the dog you see, was looking for a shady spot to nap. Those sandals had been tossed under the boat's console to keep them out of the sun.
After a refreshing swim in the river I came back to the boat and saw Cookie napping under the console with her feet in my shoes!
Well, I thought, if the shoe fits wear it.
