The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Irony? Hurricane Katrina left this US Weather Bureau Storm Warning Tower twisted and mangled on North Beach Blvd, Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi. Even after the rest of the property was cleared, it took years to get this metal removed. The contractors were all afraid to touch it because it was "property of The Federal Government"!
Bay Saint Louis, MS is located in Hancock County, ground zero for Hurricane Katrina.
