Description
This ferry was put into service between Pass Christian and Bay Saint Louis Mississippi for a short period of time after Hurricane Katrina destroyed the US Hwy. 90 bridge over the Bay of Saint Louis which connected the two cities.

I used it a couple of times to get to Harrison County instead of the extra 10-15 miles going around when the bridge was being replaced. I opened the hatch of the Jeep and sat on the back with Cookie while we were ferried to the other side of the Bay. Bay breeze, seagulls following us and a much more scenic ride than the interstate!
