Description
Nashville Emergency Siren by Kathy K. McClellan is a photographic image created for Day 259 of the 365 Challenge (Journal 2022).
This photograph was taken in Nashville, Georgia (USA) in the fall of 2007. The siren, however, is much older.
The trees were much closer to me than the siren and the siren was also downhill from my position, so the trees appear almost as tall as the siren when in fact they were probably not even half as tall.
The siren is an omni-directional type siren for 360˚ coverage.
It is used for emergencies such as tornadoes or other threatening weather and for fire emergencies. It is located at the city Fire Department.
