Description
Ohio Antrim Presbyterian Church by Kathy K. McClellan is a photographic image created for Day 228 of the 365 Challenge (Journal 2022).
This church is located in the village of Antrim, Ohio (USA) on US Highway 22 (also known as Cadiz Road) in the southeastern area of the state.
The roof on the church shown in this image was replaced several years ago. Before being covered with metal the roof consisted of gray shingles with white ones in the shape of letters and numbers. The letters were UPC and the numbers were 1889 indicating the year the church was formed. The building was opened for services in 1890.
Next to the church is the United Presbyterian Cemetery which is separated from the Antrim Community Cemetery by a gravel road and is not to be confused with a cemetery south of US 22 called Antrim Presbyterian Cemetery.
