Pass Beach Cat by Kathy K. McClellan is an acrylic on canvas board painting that was created from two separate photographs taken on the Mississippi Gulf Coast in Pass Christian ("The Pass") and Bay Saint Louis ("da Bay").
The large cumulus clouds over the Gulf Of Mexico were evidence of a warm, humid and still afternoon in the Pass. It was too calm for a sail that day evidenced by the catamaran lying in the sand, on the beach, in da Bay.
