We recently stayed in a gorgeous rental home along the Mississippi Gulf Coast. The home featured ten foot ceilings. This Printania Hotel Wall Clock had been positioned a little below the ceiling in the kitchen of that home.
I wondered if this was an antique clock that had come from one of the Printania Hotels in Europe. I researched the clock and discovered that this clock is a reproduction of an 1870 wall clock from the Paris Printania Hotel. Every Printania Hotel clock I saw for sale online had the exact same rust/worn spots on the clocks!
Although I was a little disappointed that this particular clock had not actually displayed time in Paris I still liked the fact that it fit the shabby chic decor in the rest of the beach house.
