Description
The parts of a sailboat are fascinating to me. So many ropes, pulleys and handles. The more masts a sailboat has the more sails, ropes, pulleys and handles there are to work. It seems like the more tools of the trade there are the more skill it takes to master the use of those tools.

Pondering this image and all he knots and twists in the ropes. A work of art.

Roberta, there is a particular way to gather up these ropes so they don't get tangled when being used to let the sail out. I didn't know that until I was shown on our first sail.
