Description
Sailing In The Park by Kathy K. McClellan
I was walking in Deibert Park, a good ways from the big pond when I saw a tall white something in the pond. Cutting across a field to get to the pond I was able to get close enough to realize it was a small sailboat. When I reached the pond I talked with the sailor who was remotely controlling the sail and rudder.
The gentleman was out with his grandson to "sail" for a couple of hours. We talked for a few minutes and I learned he is a "real" sailor of full size boats.
Earlier when I first arrived at the park for my walk, I took photographs of a stacked stone wall when I saw stones that looked like a sailboat.
Maybe it's time for a sail!
