Salt Lamp Rocks by Kathy K. McClellan is a photographic image created for Week 23 of the 52 week Art Challenge (Theme: The World Inside).
Several chunks of Himalayan Pink Salt fill a tray in the bottom of an ultrasonic essential oil diffuser. The diffuser breaks down essential oil particles into micro-molecules that disperse into the air as a fine mist containing negative ions.
Bright light from bulbs that are out of sight in this view, illuminate and warm the salt resulting in more negative ions being distributed into the air.
Both the aroma from the essential oils and negative ions are said to produce a calming and healing effect on the body, both physically and emotionally.
Using this image in your decor may warm up the coldest of spaces and help you create a cozy, inviting home.
