Artist's Description
The Fence by Kathy K. McClellan is a photograph taken for Day One of the Three Day Perspective Challenge.
This vinyl fence is erected behind a row of apartment buildings on ground that is sloped downward. There are apartments on one side of this fence and a field on the other side. There is a four lane highway on one end of the fence and a forest on the other end.
The top of this fence is a popular perching place for many birds as they survey the grass on the apartment buildings side and field of wild plants on the other side. Both sides of this fence provide ample food, including insects and seeds, for the different species of birds.
This photograph was taken in the early morning hours providing enough light to allow a few distorted reflections from some of the fence panels.
