Description
Have you heard of the Fountain Of Youth? When I saw this fountain surrounded by jazz musician sculptures I knew I had to title this image The Fountain Of Jazz.
This image is a digitally enhanced photograph of a fountain located close to the French Market along the Mississippi River and a little east of the famous French Quarter area of Jackson Square in New Orleans, LA.
The irony is that when I think of jazz musicians I think of older men who have spent years honing their craft. Not young people at all!
New Orleans has a rich history of music, mostly jazz and blues. A visit to this interesting city and especially The French Quarter will fill your senses with all types of art and entertainment. But music is the most prevalent art heard and seen. Street performing musicians are on every block of the French Quarter and surrounding area and music streams out of every bar, restaurant and gift shop.
