Description
River Sandbars Painting Effect was originally a photograph that was manipulated to give the effect that the scene was painted.
The sandbars in this image are along the Jourdan River in Hancock County, MS. The river flows into the Bay of Saint Louis in Bay Saint Louis, MS. The Bay then flows out into the Gulf Of Mexico.
Boaters pull up to these sandbars and picnic as well as spend time fishing, swimming and lounging in the sun.
Because the Jourdan River is a tidal river and floods often these sandbars are constantly changing in size and shape.
