Abstract Sunflower Square by Kathy K. McClellan is an abstract image created for Day 282 of the 365 Challenge (Journal 2022). This image is presented in a square format.
This image started out as a photograph taken in a field of sunflowers a few miles from Sasser, Georgia (USA). Manipulating the photograph in several ways with software produced this abstract.
The general shape and color of a sunflower has been maintained in the center of the image while the leaves and stems, some in the sunlight and some in the shade, look very little like the original features of those plants.
The pattern of this abstract resembles a country quilt square.
