Going Under The Bridge by Kathy K. McClellan is a photographic image created for Day 174 of the 35 Challenge (Journal 2022).
Motoring along the Jourdan River in Hancock County, Mississippi (USA).
Late in the evening coming home from a relaxing summer day spent on a river sandbar.
Slowing down to pass under one of the few bridges crossing over the river.
Thundering sounds echo through that passage as cars and trucks drive over the bridge.
Vibrations of sound, sights of linear concrete posts and subtle ripples of water on the surface of the river.
These are the memories that will be cherished for as long as we live and breathe as we crave those sights, sounds and feelings.
