Speckled Trout by Kathy K. McClellan is an image of a day's catch of fish from the Jourdan River in Hancock County, MS.
Three men in a boat fished the marshy flats of the river where it meets the Bay of Saint Louis in Bay Saint Louis, MS before it flows into The Gulf Of Mexico. The men were able to nearly fill their cooler in a short period of time.
Speckled trout are a popular game fish along the Gulf Of Mexico and are in the top ten species for recreational fishing in the United States.
Contrary to it's name this fish is actually a member of the drum family of fish.
