I have never seen so many distorted tree trunks as I did the day that we visited Spring Park in Tuscumbia, Alabama (USA). My husband sat in the truck while I ran around from one tree to the next taking photographs.
When I got back in the truck I excitedly told him about a tree that looked like an alligator was climbing down the trunk. He gave me one of those roll your eyes look and we left the park. However, after we got home and I downloaded all my photographs from the camera to the computer, I asked him to come look at a few of my photos.
The look on his face was priceless when I pulled up this capture and he said, "You're right! It does look like an alligator climbing down the tree. I thought you were pulling my leg."
