Tranquil Tuesday by Kathy K. McClellan is an image created for Day Twenty Five of the Journal 2022 Challenge, a 365 day Personal Art Challenge.

The photograph that was processed and uploaded on this day was taken on a Tuesday in May 2006. An anniversary trip to the Florida Keys produced this view from the top floor of a rented house.

The house was located in Islamorada, Village of Islands, which is considered the Sport Fishing Capitol of the World.

As you can see from this photograph, it was a tranquil day with very little wind and plenty of sunshine, despite the clouds on the horizon. The beach was deserted with only a palm frond thatched roof over an empty picnic table waiting for tourists.

Although today we are a thousand miles north of that tropical fishing paradise, the day is shaping up to be another Tranquil Tuesday with plenty of sunshine and little to no wind.
