A Ferrari Impostor by Kathy K. McClellan is a photographic image created for Week 25 of the 52 week Art Challenge (Theme: The World Outside).
I spotted this automobile in a restaurant parking lot. I quickly started taking photos of this car since I had never seen a Ferrari and didn't know when I might see another one.
Image my surprise when I was researching to find out what model it was and discovered that it is not a Ferrari at all!
Apparently, it's not uncommon for owners of a Saturn Sky to change out all the emblems on their car to the Ferrari brand. There were several pictures of amended Saturn Sky automobiles online.
My excitement of seeing a real Ferrari turned to amusement at discovering that this automobile was really a Saturn Sky trying to impersonate a Ferrari.
