Callaway Poinsettia Lights by Kathy K. McClellan is a photographic image created for Week 17 of the 52 week Art Challenge (Theme: The World Outside). This is a square format image.
Several years ago we rode through the Christmas light display at Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain, Georgia (USA).
The image you see here contains two lighted versions of a poinsettia plant. The larger display is in the actual shape of a poinsettia bloom and the smaller one is in a square shape. Both displays are lighted with red lights representing the traditional and popular poinsettia color. The larger display is lighted with green leaf shapes around the red blossom.
This display was one of many constructed along the seven mile drive through the park.
