Georgia Covered Wagon by Kathy K. McClellan is a photographic image taken at the Burton Brooks Orchards in Barney, Georgia (USA). An aged treatment was applied to the original photograph to accentuate the time period of the covered wagon.
During an early May trip to southern Georgia (USA), we made a special trip to Barney, Georgia specifically to purchase fresh Georgia peaches.
We found this farm stand to be a feast for all of your senses.
The old fashioned, churned ice cream was the best peach ice cream and awakened our taste buds.
This old covered wagon, old cars, trucks and antique farm implements delighted the eyes as our minds traveled down memory lane.
The smell of fresh peaches, watermelons and other fruits and vegetables filled our sense of smell with summer delight.
Wouldn't you also love to experience some of that regions best local produce in season? The next time you are in southern Georgia be sure to drive to Barney and stop at one of several produce stands and enjoy that regions edible treasures.
