Description
Rear View Sunset by Kathy K. McClellan is a photographic image created for Day 166 of the 365 Challenge (Journal 2022).
As we near the middle of the year my thoughts turn to the sunsets that I was blessed to witness and photograph when I lived in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi (USA). We lived in an area called Cedar Point and it was the best location for dramatic sunsets.
I found myself taking photographs of the afterglow from the sunsets which were often more colorful than the actual sunset. Sometimes those photographs included reflections in windows, doors, water and in this case, I was photographing what the sunset looked like in the rear view mirror of our truck.
Whoever said, "Never look back" never saw this beautiful sky when looking back!
I hope that you enjoy this view as much as I did and as much as I do now when I look at this photograph.
