Wet Windshield Abstract by Kathy K. McClellan is an image created for Day Five of the Journal 2022 Challenge, a 365 day Personal Art Challenge.
This image is an actual photograph as well as a naturally occurring abstract. The photo was taken from the inside of my vehicle on a cold, rainy day. As I sat in my vehicle at my Dentist's office, waiting to be called in for my appointment, I noticed the distorted view of a window on the front of the building. The distortion was caused by the water from the rain drops running down the glass of my windshield.
My distorted view of the window and the stucco siding appeared as an abstract painting in my mind. Thinking that it was an interesting concept, I captured the image with my cell phone camera.
As I write this description, we are anticipating a wintry mix of precipitation later this evening and into tomorrow. Rain, freezing rain, sleet and snow are all part of the forecast for the next 36-48 hours.
I can imagine that the view out of our apartment windows may be just as distorted as this view through my windshield appeared.
Time will tell!

Great look and capture! I see a winking eye on the right of the window and open eye on the left. So creative!

Thanks Gaby! I see those, too, as well as another set that I'll let someone else discover. The cool thing is that I did not put those "eyes" there....they showed up on their own!
