Cats by Kathy K. McClellan is an image created for Day 87 of the Journal 2022 Challenge.
My journal entries for March make up a series titled "From Letters to Words" using the letters that were created for the February entries.
March 28th is Respect Your Cat Day. Today is the day to acknowledge how hard your cat works to be a loyal companion.
A few fun facts:
(1) The Ancient Egyptians believed cats were sacred and worshiped them.
(2) French archaeologists discovered a 9,500 year old cat grave in Cyprus.
(3) There are over two million cat videos on YouTube.
(4) Over a third of Americans say that their cats "get" them better than their human friends.
For those of you who have or have had cats you already know that most cats demand respect from you every day so you might as well celebrate Respect Your Cat Day!
100% of the artist's markup will be donated to Chloe's Fund, which provides life saving treatments and surgeries for shelter animals in the Florence/Lauderdale County, Alabama area.
