Ruby Mae by Kathy K. McClellan is a photographic image processed for Day 162 of the 365 Challenge (Journal 2022).
When we lived in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi (USA), we often took our boat out into the Bay of Saint Louis and on up into the Jourdan River.
On one weekend trip we found Ruby Mae grounded on a sandbar at the junction of the mouth of the river and the shallow bay.
Ruby was a old wooden boat, a mature lady with modern electronic equipment that had been added atop her cabin. She was quite a large working boat, a beauty in her time no doubt.
We don't know anything about Ruby Mae except what we saw that day.
We never saw Ruby Mae again. She was there one weekend and gone the next.
