Description
Back Porch Kitchen by Kathy K. McClellan is a photographic image created for Day Three of the Five Day Art Challenge (Theme: Kitchen). This is a square format image.
This outdoor kitchen was designed for the homeowner's back porch. The house was located on the Mississippi Gulf Coast (USA) where outdoor activities are enjoyed year round.
The kitchen includes a gas grill, a stainless steel sink with attached drainboard and a free standing stainless steel table.
A slow cooker and small fryer are stored inside immediately through the entrance door. When needed those appliances are brought outside and placed on the metal table for use.
The trash receptacle is conveniently located and is made of stainless steel which holds up well to the salty air along the coast.
A ceiling fan can be used to force any smoke or cooking odors off the porch and the attached light fixture, as well as the porch light, provides much needed light at night.
The door sporting the heron silhouette painting opens to reveal an outside storage closet.

Cool! I love that the heron matches the house color too!
Kathy K McClellan replied:
Thanks Gaby. My sister drew it out and I had paint mixed to match the siding then filled in her outline.
