My journal entries for February 2022 include upper case (capital) letters of the Modern English Alphabet as well as a description that relays information on the word chosen for that day's letter. These letters are created from used wine corks.
R is the eighteenth letter of the Modern English Alphabet and is being created and uploaded on the eighteenth day of the month.
There were several choices today for words starting with R. Remember the original 3Rs of Reading 'Riting & 'Rithmatic? How about the modern Reduce, Reuse & Recycle?
But as I was going through a list of words Roast stood out. It was the first word that I actually read and recognized as I skimmed over the list.
Why did my brain lock onto the word Roast? Probably because I had put a beef chuck roast in the refrigerator yesterday to thaw and was planning to "roast" it in the oven later today!
Co-incidence? Maybe!
