Description
Depot Duck Pond Reflections by Kathy K. McClellan is a photographic image created for Day 325 of the 365 Challenge (Journal 2022).
During a recent visit to Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi (USA) we stopped at the Duck Pond in the Historic Depot District.
It was very cold but sunny. Part of the pond was in the sun and part of it was shaded by the surrounding trees. Several cypress trees were rising out of the shallow pond with their golden fall foliage.
There was a big contrast between the wet, dark tree trunks and the lighter gold and yellow leaves all of which was slightly distorted in the reflections on the blue pond water.
I love water reflections and had to stop, admire this glorious sight and capture it with my camera.
