Tifton Water Tower by Kathy K. McClellan is a photographic image created for Day 272 of the 365 Challenge (Journal 2022).
This water tower can be seen as you drive along Interstate 75 through Tifton, Georgia (USA). There is a graphic sunburst to the left of the city name and a graphic to the right of the name that includes a shape of the state of Georgia, the shape of a log cabin and the shape of an old horse drawn plow. The words over the state graphic reads: Home of GEORGIA AGRIRAMA.
Tifton, Georgia is the county seat of Tift County and has a population of 17,045 as of the 2020 Census.
It is home to the Georgia Museum Of Agriculture & Historic Village, also known as Agrirama, a 19th century living museum. The Agrirama opened on July 4th, 1976. The museum is a facility of Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College, also located in Tifton.
