Description
Mission Style Georgia Adaptation is a photograph taken in Nashville, Georgia (USA).
This home, in a small town in Southern Georgia (USA), is an adaptation of Spanish Mission Architecture. Normally in the Mission Style the openings in the porch front would be arched. The only arch visible in this example is a slight curved edge at the top of the home.
Mission style homes most often have tiled roofs. A flat roof with drainage gutters off to the side is featured on this particular house.
White or pastel stucco exteriors are a hallmark of the Mission Style. This home features the white stucco but appears to be in need of a new paint job.
